Blending hypnotic Latin rhythms, jazz-infused improvisation, indie rock edge, psychedelic layers, and soulful urgency, The Uninvisible turn late-night border-town revelations, dusty backroad feelings, and untamed South Texas spirit into songs that hit deep and move bodies. Their sound is impossible to pin down—intimate one moment, explosive the next—making the invisible emotions and stories of the Valley impossible to ignore.
The Uninvisible
Eddie De La Garza on keyboards. He’s a music teacher for La Joya ISD. A musician and educator for over 30 years.
Eric Trevino on Bass. He is also an educator and has been teaching and performing for over 30 years.
Nicholas Pell is on Guitar. He’s an educator at South Texas ISD Health Professions and has been teaching and performing for over 20 years.
Rene Peynado is on Drums. He’s a Band Director for Weslaco ISD. He has been teaching and performing for over 20 years.
Together they are The Uninvisible, a raw, boundary-pushing force straight out of the Rio Grande Valley. Based in McAllen, Texas (956), the band channels the heat, heart, and hidden energy of the RGV into music that refuses to stay unseen.
Whether they’re laying down heavy, atmospheric riffs, unleashing danceable Latin grooves that light up a room, or riding jazz-fueled solos that twist and breathe, The Uninvisible deliver live shows packed with connection and electricity. Rooted firmly in the 956 but with sights set far beyond the Valley, they’re carving their own lane in Texas music: unapologetic, unpredictable, and unforgettable.
From McAllen to wherever the road takes them—the unseen is rising.
