Playing music at any level and any age enhances life in many meaningful ways. You are never too old and it is never too late to learn. We have classes for all age groups.
You will be playing after 1 lesson
Our unique system will have you playing chords and reading notes in a fun non-stressful class. We’ve helped thousands of people just like you learn to play.
What we believe about music
Everyone should have the opportunity to develop their creative and musical abilities in a positive learning environment. Group piano instruction has proven to be a natural and effective way to learn the piano and develop an appreciation for the beauty of music. Plus, it is fun making music with others!
Our group piano lessons are formed by age and level compatibility, as follows:
- Weekly Preschool Piano classes are 45 minutes each
- Weekly Adult, Teen, and Kids classes are 50 minutes each
- Experience playing in a “Piano Band”
Instrument requirements
- A well-tuned, high-quality acoustic or digital piano is vital for development.
- We are here to equip our students for success! Please inquire about our student piano rental program and starter pianos.
- Practice Makes Progress!
Tuition and Payment
- Monthly tuition payment is $95
- Family discount: 2 for $90 each, 3 for $85 each, 4 for $80 each
- Tuition may be paid in a lump sum at the beginning of each semester, or you may choose to have an automatic monthly debit.
- Tuition is non-refundable
There is a non-refundable ANNUAL registration fee of $50.00 per child and $30 per adult
- Registration fee reserves the students place in the class and covers the cost of all books and materials.
- Adults will not be required to pay a registration fee
- Adult music books are charged separately.
Drop-off/Pickup
- Children may not run in the store, crawl under pianos, or hide between pianos
- Small children should always be accompanied by a parent/teacher when using the restroom
- We will not allow students to leave the store unless accompanied by their parent/guardian. Please come inside to pick up your child
Attendance
- Missed lessons should be avoided if at all possible & make ups are not guaranteed. There will be no adjustments in tuition if a student cannot attend.
- If absent, the teacher will provide you with a copy of the lesson plan.
- Please let your teacher know if you are planning to be gone, as there may be another class at a similar level that you could attend that week.
The following holidays/vacation weeks are built into the schedule:
Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas/Winter Break, Spring Break, Easter Weekend
Celebrations!
- There will be 2 student performances each year
- Celebrations showcase the students!
- All family & friends are welcome
Piano lessons are like a triangle
- The student, parent, and teacher must all work together; hence, cooperation and communication between all parties is essential.
- Please feel free to discuss any questions or concerns regarding the musical education of your student with the teacher.

Pre-School Piano Lessons

Welcome to Adventures of Way Cool Kitty. In this fun and playful first experience at the piano, your child will have the following musical experiences:
- We will begin the development of coordination and muscle control both at the piano and away from the piano. Away from the piano, the singing and movement songs will have your child moving to the beat, marching, dancing and playing rhythm instruments. At the piano, our goal is to help develop the independent use of each finger as they learn to identify and play on all of the black key groups.
- You will notice that singing is included in every lessons. Singing is an important and natural component of music education. Students will learn to imitate what they hear, sing along as they play and sing together as a class. And they will be exposed to various styles of music and listening experiences.
- And lastly, all of these age appropriate teaching techniques will help improve your child’s listening skills, focus and concentration.
The music tracks and song sheets are provided to help you and your child play and sing together at home. Because they are too young to practice along, your child will benefit greatly from your participation. So, have fun playing along and begin creating your own musical memories at home.
Remember, the music education you are providing at this young developmental age is one of the greatest gifts you can give.

“Way Cool” Keyboarding 4 Kids
All classes are $95 per month.
This nationally recognized piano program will have your 6-10 year old beginning piano student playing from the very first lesson! In our “Way Cool” Keyboarding 4 Kids classes, students experience the fun of playing in their own Piano Band. This group environment provides many positive musical and nonmusical benefits, including the development of concentration and listening skills as they learn to blend together as an ensemble. Improvisation, composition and other expressive activities will have your child looking forward to each week as they make music with their friends.
OUR “WAY COOL” STUDENTS:

- Discover the joy found in playing duets and ensembles as they make music with others

“Way Cool” Keyboarding

This innovative program is designed specially for Teens and Pre‐teens with music that is fun and interesting and accompaniments that “rock”! Teens can hang out and make music together while they learn to read music, improvise and play from chord charts ‐ preparing them for garage bands, praise and worship bands and other popular ensembles.
FROM THE VERY FIRST LESSON, OUR “WAY COOL” STUDENTS EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING:
- Music in contemporary, rock ‘n roll, praise and worship and pop styles.
- Chord charts to prepare students to play and create their favorite tunes. Our step-by-step approach to realizing chord charts is both fun and creative.
- Improvisation and composition opportunities. We strongly encourage expression, creativity and finding your own voice at the piano.
- Cool accompaniment tracks to play along with and accelerate learning.
- Ensemble experiences that prepare students for making music with others.
