Pre-School Piano
Children as young as age 4 can learn fundamental musical concepts and the basics of playing piano. The key to success in young children’s music education is to provide a fun and enriching environment for your child’s first experience with music.
Our piano and singing course provides a nice balance between the discipline needed to learn to play the piano and the enjoyment received through the process of making music. The course introduces musical concepts through playing piano, written work, ear training and coloring exercises as well as through singing, listening and movement activities. This variety of activities lays a foundation for a lifetime of musical enjoyment.
Included in the course are songs to sing for fun, motion songs to introduce musical responses to music, songs to reinforce specific rhythm patterns and songs to aid in the development of musical expressiveness. The songs are a mixture of familiar folk songs and original music for young children.

“Way Cool” Keyboarding 4 Kids
This nationally recognized piano program will have your 6-10 year old beginning piano student playing from the very first lesson! In our “Way Cool” Keyboarding 4 Kids classes, students experience the fun of playing in their own Piano Band. This group environment provides many positive musical and nonmusical benefits, including the development of concentration and listening skills as they learn to blend together as an ensemble. Improvisation, composition and other expressive activities will have your child looking forward to each week as they make music with their friends.
OUR “WAY COOL” STUDENTS:
- Learn to read music
- Enjoy playing chord charts in contemporary styles that they are accustomed to hearing and singing
- Discover the joy found in playing duets and ensembles as they make music with others
- Explore improvisation and the fun of creating their own styles

“Way Cool” Keyboarding
This innovative program is designed specially for Teens and Pre‐teens with music that is fun and interesting and accompaniments that “rock”! Teens can hang out and make music together while they learn to read music, improvise and play from chord charts ‐ preparing them for garage bands, praise and worship bands and other popular ensembles.
FROM THE VERY FIRST LESSON, OUR “WAY COOL” STUDENTS EXPERIENCE THE FOLLOWING:
- Music in contemporary, rock ‘n roll, praise and worship and pop styles.
- Chord charts to prepare students to play and create their favorite tunes. Our step-by-step approach to realizing chord charts is both fun and creative.
- Improvisation and composition opportunities. We strongly encourage expression, creativity and finding your own voice at the piano.
- Cool accompaniment tracks to play along with and accelerate learning.
- Ensemble experiences that prepare students for making music with others.
