An accomplished musician, David Friman holds a Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance from New York University, along with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Houston.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of David Friman’s jazz artistry reflecting a diversity of influences from his classical piano background to his Cuban and Latin American roots. This will be a musical experience you won’t want to miss!

David Friman is a Cuban-American jazz pianist, composer, and educator based in McAllen, Texas. Born in Cuba and raised in part in Mexico City, he draws from a rich blend of Cuban and Latin American influences in his music. David holds degrees from New York University (M.M. in Jazz Performance) and the University of Houston (B.M. in Piano Performance).

His performances offer a personal and expressive take on jazz standards and original works, shaped by his classical training and cultural roots. As the founder of Katy Piano Instructors, he mentors students and professionals of all levels.
