With an Associate’s degree in music performance from South Texas College, under Dr. Daniel Cather, he served as the college jazz band pianist.

A Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, showcased Christian’s innovative approach at the 2021 MTNA Conference, earning nationwide acclaim. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the same university, he studies with Concert Pianist Francisco Rocafuerte in the Royal Academy of Music program.

Based in McAllen, Texas, as a dedicated piano instructor and Music Director at Musical Living Academy, Mr. Dávila aspires to be a pianist and school music owner, ardently sharing his love for music.

John Hernández has recently obtained his Bachelor of Music in Piano performance, from the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley with the highest honor of Summa Cum Laude (2022).

Mr. Hernández’s performance experience includes a gala performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City, a solo piano concerto performance alongside the UTRGV Youth Orchestra, several concerts accompanying the South Texas College choir, and has participated in several masterclass performances with world-class artists including Kevin Kenner (Warsaw Chopin Competition Winner), and Magdalena Bczewska (Yamaha Concert Artist).

Mr. Hernández is also a recipient of the Graduate Teaching Assistantship Award from the UTRGV School of Music (Fall, 2022) and is currently a Master’s student. At the 2021 MTNA conference, Mr. Hernández has presented his own pedagogical method book, and has received many compliments from the piano teachers around the nation. Mr. Hernández is also a sought-after private piano teacher in the Rio Grande Valley and is currently under the instruction of concert pianist Francisco Rocafuerte.
